Whistleblowing System

PT DAHANA is committed to implementing the principles of Good Corporate Governance in a consistent and sustainable way. In order to realize efforts to implement the principles of Good Corporate Governance, including eradication of corruption, collusion and nepotism, it is necessary to build a Whistleblowing System which is part of internal control for prevention of irregularities and fraudulent practices.

Realizing the importance of the Whistleblowing System within the Company management, the Board of Commissioners and Directors are committed to implementing PT DAHANA’s Whistleblowing System (WBS) Guidelines to create a healthy, clean and proper Company environment.

PURPOSE OF THE WHISTLEBLOWING SYSTEM

To provide with a reference for reporting and handling of alleged violations within PT DAHANA which includes alleged criminal acts of corruption, conflict of Interest, as well as protection for whistleblowers.

REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

To simplify and speed up the follow-up process, the following are requirements that must be fulfilled by the reporting party when submitting their complaint.

  • Written complaints of violations must be accompanied by a photocopy of identity and supporting evidence such as documents relating to the violation to be reported.
  • Anonymous reporting is acceptable, however there is no obligation for the Company to provide a response as there will be issues of communication and clarification with the reporting party so that the report cannot be processed further.

PROTECTION AGAINST WHISTLEBLOWERS

Whistleblower Protection is intended to provide guarantees for the confidentiality of the identity of the reporting party and protection from actions that are detrimental to such reporting party. Companies are obliged to protect whistleblowers who have good intentions through:

  • Guarantee of confidentiality of the identity of the reporting party and the contents of the report submitted.
  • Guarantee of protection against treatment that is detrimental to the reporting party.
  • Guarantee of confidentiality of the reporting party’s identity in case the reporting party provides identity and information that can be used to contact the reporting party.
  • Guarantee of information security and protection against retaliation from the reported party or PT DAHANA, in the form of threats to physical safety, psychological terror, property safety, legal protection and job security, pressure to delay promotion, demotion, unfair dismissal, harassment or discrimination in all forms and adverse entries in their personal file.

IMPLEMENTATION OF SANCTIONS

In the event that, based on the results of the investigation, it is proven that the reported party has committed the alleged violation, the decision-making official will impose sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations.
