President Director of PT DAHANA Syaifuddin accompanied by Director of Finance, Risk Management & HR of PT DAHANA Ahyanizzaman welcome the visit of First Marshal Sapuan, Commander of Suryadarma Air Force Base. The marshal was accompanied by Head of Service for Potential Air Staff Colonel Pom Tomi Wahyu Ismailiana, Head of Logistics Colonel Tek Hanafi, Commander of Air Force Base.
Lieutenant Colonel Pas Iwan Haraharp, Commander of Military Police Unit Lieutenant Colonel Pom Sanyoto, and Head of Intelligence Major Sus Ashari Rahman. The group from Danlanud Suryadarma was warmly received at the DAHANA Campus, Subang, West Java, on Monday, August 19, 2024.
In his remarks, Mrs Syaifuddin said that DAHANA and the Air Force have a very close relationship as historically, DAHANA was born from the womb of the Air Force through the Menang Project, and had used the land of the Wiriadinata Tasikmalaya Air Force Base before finally moving to Subang.
“Of course it is a pleasure for us to receive a visit from the Air Base Commander. If we look at it from a historical perspective, DAHANA was born from the Air Force, then finally we moved to Subang for purposes of development, capacity building, location and so on,” said Mr Syaifuddin.
PT DAHANA is also close to [The Air Force] in terms of products as PT DAHANA also produces explosives for use by the Air Force such as the Bomb P Series for Sukhoi aircraft in military training and operations. Apart from that, PT DAHANA has produced the 122B Defense Rocket used by the forces; the development of the RHan 450 is a collaborative work with the Indonesian Ministry of Defense’s Research and Development Agency.
Mr Syaifuddin added that PT DAHANA really wished to get a lot of insight from the Suryadarma Commander with regards to products to be developed by the Company to the needs of the Air Force in the future. As part of DEFEND ID, DAHANA is ready to increase its role in supporting the independence of the national defense industry.
“Being the member of DEFEND ID defense industry holding, DAHANA wishes to improve its services in the defense area. We currently have a larger service area in commercial services. In the future, we also want to increase the defense service area without reducing the commercial service area, because it is a national need to support the improvement of our national economy,” added Mr Syaifuddin.
Meanwhile, Suryadarma Air Base Commander First Marshal Sapuan stated that he had been assigned to the Operations Research System Analysis (Asro) and admitted that the portion for DAHANA was still very small compared to other companies. He hoped that in the future DAHANA can take a larger portion.
“Thank you for PT DAHANA’s warm welcome. We consider DAHANA our close friend in Subang, DAHANA is our Subang family. We are also grateful for the established collaboration. Some time ago we did training at DAHANA. Alhamdulillah, it can be implemented well and supported well by DAHANA,” said Marshal Sapuan.
Subang’s Suryadarma Air Base is specially mandated to maintain the security and order of the national defense industry, especially PT DAHANA which is included in the National Vital Object. In every work program, Suryadarma Air Base prepares itself so that it is ready any time required to secure the Indonesian National Vital Object (DAHANA).
“Hopefully later we can work together. It was also covered with history. We originate our roots from our history. We have blood ties. We are very proud and happy, even though DAHANA has moved from from Tasikmalaya to Subang. Once again, thank you for the welcome and cooperation that has been established so far,” concluded Marshal Sapuan.
