Acting President Director of PT DAHANA Ahyanizzaman accompanied by Director of Technology and Development Suhendra Yusuf RPN and Chairman of the Committee for DAHANA’s 58th Anniversary Wibowo Budi Santoso launched the Logo and Theme for PT DAHANA’s 58th Anniversary in held at the Subang Campus, West Java, Thursday, June 27, 2024.
This year theme is “Innovation with Integrity”. The launch of this logo and theme marks the start of a series of anniversary activities which will culminate in October.
In his remarks, Mr Ahyanizzaman said that the business world is currently and constantly in a very dynamic situation with various haunting disruptions. However, PT DAHANA has succeeded in establishing itself as the mecca of Indonesian explosives companies and has reached the age of 58.
“58 years is not a short time for a company amidst the business world that is experiencing disruption and various global uncertainties. DAHANA’s success in reaching the age of 58 is inseparable from the role of all parties, both the GMS, Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, Employees, and also DAHANA’s loyal customers,” said Mr Ahyanizzaman.
He added that one of the important things that has brought DAHANA to progress as it is today is innovations in all sectors: in products, managerial processes, company structures, and the Company’s adaptation to digital. However, as a company committed to humanity and the environment, innovation must be accompanied by integrity.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the DAHANA 58th Anniversary Committee, Wibowo Budi Santoso, said that the theme “Innovation with Integrity” was chosen with in hoping that the Company can carry out sustainable and responsible innovation that not only brings benefits to the Company, but also leaves a positive impact on employees, the environment, and society at large.
Philosophically, the theme of the 58th Anniversary emphasizes value-based Innovation in which each innovation carried out must be based on ethics and integrity, which includes honesty in research and development and transparency in developing new technologies. The Company’s human resource development places employees as the main agents of innovation, and creates an environment that supports creativity and continuous learning.
Furthermore, Technology Utilization, where the Company use technology in innovation with integrity to solve real problems and create added value for the company, society and the environment. Finally, innovation that emphasizes the values of AKHLAK, by integrating the values of Amanah, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative in every innovation developed.
Mr Santoso explained that the committee also raised the Dolphin logo as the mascot for the 58th Anniversary. Dolphins are known as innovative animals with sponge-like technology that protects themselves when looking for food on the seabed. Dolphins also have sophisticated technology in complex communication both with sound and body language.
“Dolphins are a reflection of the synergy between humans, technology, and AKHLAK values. Their traits demonstrate intelligence, empathy, innovation, cooperation, and adaptation. Dolphins are an example of how living things work together in harmony, using intelligence and innovation to survive, and practicing ethical values in their daily interactions,” concluded Mr Santoso.
