PT DAHANA organized an In-house Training on Risk Management Implementation in order to strengthen knowledge and culture of risk management. Commissioner of PT DAHANA Wahyudi Hidayat opened the event which took place in a hybrid manner at the DAHANA Auditorium, Subang, West Java, and online via Zoom meeting, on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
In his remarks, Mr Hidayat said that the IHT on Risk Management activity is important to help improve the quality of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) at DAHANA. He hoped that participants taking part in the course can to the training to make sure the training can bring benefits to DAHANA in the future.
“DAHANA is a company that is exposed to extreme risks. It is imperative for the Company’s policy makers to seriously be engaged in the training. We hope that fellow employees can learn seriously and implement well in DAHANA’s activities,” said Mr Hidayat.
During the training, PT DAHANA’s Risk Monitoring Committee, Handoko Tomo was appointed as a speaker to convey knowledge and an overview of risk management governance in the company environment in accordance with the principles of ISO 31000: 2018 and the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 8849-2019.
Mr Tomo delivered various materials related to risk management such as, the risk management framework, risk management process, risk management regulations at PT DAHANA, DAHANA’s main risk profile, DAHANA’s inherent and residual risks, the three-line model in DAHANA’s risk governance, and DAHANA’s risk management roadmap.
A member of the Committee, Ezha Kurniasari said that this IHT was held as a form of strengthening PT DAHANA’s risk management knowledge and culture, especially echelons 2 and 3. Previously, a similar event was also held for echelon 1 which was held on June 11, 2024 at the Jakarta Office.
“The committee hoped that this activity can increase awareness and strengthen the risk management culture at DAHANA, considering that this company has an extreme level of risk. Hopefully DAHANA can echo the culture of risk awareness in all its activities, in accordance with the principles of ISO 31000:2018, and SNI 8849:2019,” said Miss Kurniasari
Meanwhile, DAHANA’s Director of Finance, Risk Management, and HR, Ahyanizzaman said that risk is something that cannot be separated from every operation carried out by the Company. Therefore, he emphasized the importance of a deep understanding and the right strategy in risk management.
“All of this aims to ensure that we not only protect the company’s assets and business continuity, but also most importantly, maintain the safety and welfare of all employees. We hope that everyone can actively participate in this training, share experiences, and learn from each other. Remember that risk management is not only the responsibility of individuals or certain departments, rathe a shared responsibility that we must take seriously,” said Ahyanizzaman.
