PT DAHANA’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Unit collaborated with the DAHANA Bikers Community (Kombi) and the DAHANA 58th Anniversary Committee to provide assistance to children at Pertiwi II Rempoah Kindergarten and Al Hikmah Rempoah TPQ Baturaden, Purwokerto. The charity came in the form of Infocus packages and learning support books. The event was packaged in Ride for Charity on July 27-28, 2024 and also attended by several related officials, including Bayu Anggoro (Acting Corporate Secretary), Eman Suherman (Head of SER Unit and Wibowo (Head of the 58th Anniversary Committee).
The Head of DAHANAA Kombi DAHANA, Mega, said that Ride for Charity is an annual agenda of Kombi to commemorate DAHANA’s anniversary. In addition, this event was also organized to expand the reach of aid recipients from DAHANA, as well as a forum to strengthen friendship among DAHANA people.
“Thank God, this year Kombi with the new management can be present again to provide assistance. We also express our gratitude to the Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) team, the DAHANA 58th Anniversary Committee and the riders for the smooth run of the activity. I personally hope that these activities can bring deep meaning to all Kombi members, and more enthusiasm to the kids who receive the assistance,” said Miss Mega.
Meanwhile, the Head of DAHAAA SER Unit TJSL Eman Suherman said that the educational facility assistance provided by DAHANA is a form of the Company’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the field of education.
Mr Suherman found that education is very important for the next generation: with good education, Indonesia will achieve the ideals of Golde Indonesia 2045. Educational facility assistance from DAHANA is a small part of realizing the nation’s big dream. He hoped that educational facility assistance can increase students’ enthusiasm in learning.
In line with Mr Suherman, the Chairperson of the DAHANA 58th Anniversary Committee, Wibowo Budi Santoso, hoped that the educational facility assistance provided can help students in carrying out learning at school.
“The dream of Golden Indonesia be achieved by one or two institutions alone. This dream must be achieved with the collaboration of all elements of society. DAHANA as a company that was born and established in Indonesia, is committed to realizing this dream. We hope that this assistance can increase children’s enthusiasm in learning and becoming Indonesia’s golden generation,” concluded Mr Santoso.
