PT DAHANA offers innovation in blasting digitalization technology called Vertex System to Mining Indonesia 2024 visitors at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, 11-14 September 2024. Vertex System uses blasting digitalization technology which is the Company’s effort to optimize blasting operations in mining activities.
PT DAHANA’s Director of Operations Yusep Nugraha while reviewing the DAHANA booth (13/9) said that Vertex System is a sophisticated digital ecosystem that integrates various aspects of the drilling and blasting process. Vertex System offers a comprehensive solution for blasting planning, implementation, monitoring, and analysis, to ensure optimal blasting performance and safety.
“DAHANA collaborates with EPC Asia Pacific which is experienced in the digitalization process of blasting and develops this system based on the advancement of field applications and studies by experts in the field of drilling and blasting. Under this service, we hope that consumers will find it more comfortable to use PT DAHANA’s services,” said Mr Nugraha.
The Vertex System created by EPC and used by DAHANA offers several superior features such as real-time data collection taken from the field for instant hybrid analysis (offline and online), and precision planning tools that utilize sophisticated algorithms for designing the right drilling and blasting plans according to field needs.
Apart from that, the Vertex System is also capable of monitoring performance to track, measure, and assess blasting performance in real time with a high level of accuracy, with a comprehensive and detailed reporting for evaluating blasting results and information on improvements in blasting performance in the future based on the web.
Mr Nugraha claimed that the Vertex System for application in blasting operations in mineral and coal mining activities provide accurate evaluation and analysis results to ensure a significant increase in the quality of drilling and blasting results.
“We have applied it at the DAHANA PT CPM Sulawesi Tengah Jobsite Project and the results showed that based on the improvements we made, there was a significant increase in the quality of the blasting results from the with this Vertex system. We hope that this service can soon be applied at other DAHANA project sites allowing the Company’s digital transformation to be utilized by every consumer,” concluded Mr Nugraha.
