The Al Akhdar Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) of PT DAHANA is again holding the ‘Mengaji Tematik bersama Dahana (Metana)—thematic Qoranic recitation program with Dahana. The Metana activity is carried out in collaboration between DKM Al Akhdar, PT DAHANA, and SMKN (high vocational school) Cibogo which was held at the Al Akhdar Mosque, Subang, West Java, on Friday, September 13, 2024.
Head of DKM Al Akhdar Ismail Kurbani said that through the Islamic Education and Youth Development Division, the Metana activity comes as form of DKM’s concern for the surrounding community. One of them is to students of SMKN 1 Cibogo Subang in order to improve knowledge and understanding in Islam Islam for students.
“The location of the school which is adjacent to the company encourages to participate in contributing to the development of students’ education. Apart from to the mosque facilities that can be used by students, DKM also prepares other development programs such as Metana,” Mr Kurbani said.
Mr Kurbani added that in this Metana session, apart from himself, Juli Jajuli and Tatang Kusmana were also speakers for the event for the male students, and Ms Erma for the female students. Ms Erma was from LTQ Shohibiul Qur’an who was asked to be a speaker under the collaboration with the DKM.
“We are trying to learn together with the students on Islamic insight and how morals play a role in realizing a civil society. We hope that the small things we do can contribute to the ideals of Indonesia Emas 2045,” said said Mr Kurbani.
