PT DAHANA organized Trivia Quiz competition in commemoration of National Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Month 2024. DEFEND ID Trivia Quiz Competition was opened by Acting VP Energetic Material Center DAHANA Dadan Munawar and GM HSE PT Len Industri (Persero) Faishol Nasrul as representatives of OHS DEFEND ID Holding, on Monday, February 5, 2024 at the DAHANA Campus Auditorium, Subang, West Java.
Chair of the DAHANA OHS Month Commemoration Committee, Diana Diah Utami, said that this competition was held to strengthen relationships among DEFEND ID members, as well as refresh employees’ knowledge on OHS K3 insights.
“We consider that OHS is an important element in realizing the independence of the Indonesian defense industry. Zero accident must be the main part to make sure that employee’s health and safety and the environment are guaranteed. Hopefully this trivia quiz competition can refresh employees’ knowledge in implementing OHS in every operation,” said Miss Utami.
The OHS DEFEND ID Trivia Quiz Competition was attended by members of Holding DEFEND ID, namely PT Len Industri (Persero), PT DAHANA, PT Pindad, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT PAL Indonesia, as well as four subsidiaries of PT Len Industri (Persero), namely PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI), PT Len Railway Systems (LRS), PT Len Telekomunikasi Indonesia (LTI), and PT Len Rekaprima Semesta.
In this activity, the committee appointed a judge from the Service of Labour Inspection of Region 3 of West Java Provincial Manpower Office. DAHANA sent Fadlan (General Mining Division II), Fajri Parmi (Commercial Product Research & Innovation), Iman Saef Nur Fajar (Detonator Plant) as quiz participants representing DAHANA.
PT DAHANA won 1st place, followed by PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI) in 2nd place, and PT PAL Indonesia in 3rd place.
“We congratulate the winners. We hope that winning this competition will be an encouragement in implementing OHS both at work and in everyday life. We believe that DEFEND ID employees can be at the forefront and become an example for the community in implementation of OHS,” concluded Miss Utami.
