Thursday (02/20/2020) DAHANA Campus located in the Energetic Material Center of PT DAHANA (Persero) Subang, West Java, welcomed a visit from dozens of Indonesian Air Force soldiers. They were students of Third Batch Basic Airman Class for Training on Missiles of Indonesian Air Force Technical Training Center.
The group was welcomed directly by the Manager of Public Relations and Institutions of PT DAHANA (Persero) Juli Jajuli in the Lobby of the DAHANA Campus Secretariat Building.
For the agenda the students enjoyed talks on Rockets, Propellants and military sector explosives delivered by Shahibudin Ma’ruf, Manager of Engineering & Development and Muhammad Hilman H, Supervisor of Military Explosive Process Engineering.
Interviewed during the visit, Lt. Col. Tech I Wayan Joni Nugraha as the coach of students explained that his visit this time to PT DAHANA (Persesro) was intended for the students to explore knowledge about rockets and propellants.
“We invite students to DAHANA because we know that DAHANA is a company engaged in the explosives industry, one of which is explosives for military needs. We hope that after this visit to DAHANA these students will get better understanding about rockets and interest in the national defense industry more,” said Wayan Joni.
The Energetic Material Center area of PT DAHANA (Persero) is the largest and only research, development and production area in Indonesia to date. This special facility area has proven to be attracting more and more practitioners in the field of explosives to attract it.
PT DAHANA (Persero) is a state-owned company in the explosives industry both for commercial and military sectors. As for the commercial sector explosives, DAHANA provides explosives for general mining, quarrying and construction, and oil and gas needs whereas for military explosives, Dahana has been able to produce P 100-L, P 250-L, P 500-L bombs for Sukhoi aircraft and is incorporated in a national rocket consortium.
