PT DAHANA (Persero) and the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) strengthen cooperation for improvement of human resources, education and research. The collaboration was specified in a memorandum of understanding signed on August 19, 2019 in Bandung.

According to Ahmad Fachrudin, SM Business Planning & Development of PT Dahana (Persero), the memorandum of understanding between DAHANA and ITB covers issues in research, data exchange and documents held by the parties as a basis for conducting research, education and training aimed at increasing each party’s human resource competence.
“In the future, the collaboration between DAHANA and ITB will be closer as this agreement serves as an umbrella for more specific and more specific agreements and cooperation,” Ahmad Fachrudin said.
On the same occasion, ITB Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA in sis speech thanked DAHANA for the trust and willingness for this collaboration.
“ITB is ready to collaborate with DAHANA in terms of education, research and human resource development. We are very happy because universities need industrial support so that the former can contribute in a maximum way. Students must be aware of firsthand conditions on the field,” he explained.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT DAHANA (Persero) Budi Antono described Dahana’s business to his counterpart. This state-owned company which operated in explosive industry offers drilling & blasting, explosives manufacturing, related services and defense related business lines. Dahana also provides blasting services for the general mining, quarrying and construction sectors, oil and gas and defense blasting materials.
“Hopefully this collaboration between DAHANA and ITB can run smoothly and bring benefit to both parties,” concluded Budi Antono who was accompanied by Director of Finance & HR Asmorohadi and Director of Technology & Development Wildan Widarman. (rmt)
