PT DAHANA’s Operations Directorate, led by Abdul Haris Atbaro, organized the DAHANA Sayang Anak Yatim—(DAHSYAT) Dahana Loves Orphans program at Jannatul Muqamah Orphanage in Pasir Karimbi, Subang, on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
In his remarks, Mr Atbaro emphasized DAHANA’s strong commitment to progress and the development of the surrounding community. He highlighted the company’s deep concern for Indonesia’s younger generation, particularly for children in need within Subang Regency, where DAHANA operates.
“The month of Ramadan is the perfect time to spread happiness. As a company rooted in Subang, DAHANA aims to contribute to the growth of the local community. One way we do this is through the DAHSYAT program, as the smiles of these foster children bring us joy,” said Mr Atbaro.
The Operations Directorate Team was delighted to entertain the foster children with a clay and frame game. The children enthusiastically decorated the frame with the clay provided by the team. Additionally, they captured the moment using a polaroid camera, saving the photos inside the frame. Together, the children and the DAHANA Team sang songs and recited prayers before breaking their fast and sharing a meal.
In addition to playing, DAHANA provided assistance to the Jannatul Muqamah Orphanage, led by Adella. This included school bags, stationery, cash for 30 foster children, and funding for repairs to the orphanage. Mr Atbaro expressed hope that this support would motivate the children to engage more enthusiastically in their learning.
Meydina, one of the foster children, expressed her happiness about spending time with the DAHANA employees. She described them as kind and approachable, noting that they played new games with her and her friends.
“Yes, Sis, we promise to use the money for something beneficial. Thank you so much for sharing with us and playing with us. May Allah SWT bless you all with health and a long, fruitful life,” said Meydina.
