Colonel Czi Dian Hendriana, Head of the Strategic Issues Department of the Army Command School (SeskoAD), expressed admiration for DAHANA’s capabilities in producing military explosives. He conveyed this during his remarks at the 2024 Defense Industry Strategic Study event for SeskoAD students, held at the DAHANA Campus in Subang, West Java, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
Colonel Hendriana thanked PT DAHANA for the warm welcome extended to the 2024 SeskoAD students. He highlighted the visit as an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth insight into the capabilities of the Indonesian defense industry in producing military explosives.
“We are very proud that Indonesia has a military explosives factory developed and operated independently by our own people. We hope that DAHANA continues to grow and meet the needs for military explosives, playing a vital role in achieving independence in Indonesian defense equipment,” said Colonel Hendriana.
Additionally, the visit of the SeskoAD students to PT DAHANA was part of the development of the Land Operations Strategy Study Program curriculum for the Applied Masters Program in the 2024 Fiscal Year. The visit was organized in two batches: the first batch arrived on Monday, November 4, 2024, and the second batch arrived Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
Juli Jajuli, SM Legal and Corporate Communications at DAHANA, stated that PT DAHANA felt honored by the visit from the 2024 SeskoAD students. Mr. Jajuli clarified that the DAHANA Campus is not a university institution but is an abbreviation for ‘Kantor Manajemen Pusat’ (Central Management Office). However, in terms of function, the DAHANA Campus embodies the same philosophical values as a place for study, research, and development of explosives.
As the mecca of Indonesian explosives production, DAHANA benefits from a dual-use technology approach, producing explosives for both commercial and military applications. In the military explosives sector, DAHANA manufactures products such as the P Series Bomb and various defense rockets currently in the development stage.
“We warmly welcome all SeskoAD 2024 students to the DAHANA High Energy Materials Center. On behalf of the management, we feel deeply honored by your visit. We also seek your support and prayers that the products currently being developed by DAHANA can soon meet the needs of the Indonesian National Army,” said Mr. Jajuli.
