PT DAHANA organized a farewell and welcome event for President Director. The agenda was held to wish good bye to Wildan Widarman as President Director of DAHANA for the period of 2021-2024 period who had been honorably dismissed by the Ministry of SOEs, and to welcome Syaifuddin as the new President Director which. The event was given at Hutan Kota by Plataran Senayan, Jakarta on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
In his remarks, Mr Syaifuddin said that the duties and responsibilities as President Director of PT DAHANA are not easy and therefore he wished to get support from the commissioners, board of directors and employees to strengthen DAHANA’s role as the leader of the Indonesian explosives industry.
“I would like to use this good occasion to express my deepest gratitude to those attending this event. I am honored with the trust conveyed by the shareholders to carry out the mandate as President Director of PT DAHANA,” said Mr Syaifuddin.
As is known, on July 18, 2024, Mr Syaifuddin was officially appointed President Director of PT DAHANA by Ministry of SOEs through the Shareholder Decree Number: SK-167/MBU/07/2024 and Number: 006/ KRUPS/LEN-DAHANA/VII 2024 replacing Wildan Widarman.
Previously, during Wildan Widarman’s leadership, with various innovations in all sectors, both organizational structure, technology, products, and management systems, DAHANA managed to achieve various monumental achievements such as recording revenues exceeding historical records for three consecutive years.
Apart from that. Mr Widarman is a living witness to DAHANA’s long journey, from an office in Tasikmalaya to an Energetic Material Center area in Subang Regency. Mr Widarman has served Indonesia through PT DAHANA for 32 years.
“I would like to express my deep respect and appreciation to Mr. Wildan Widarman who has led PT DAHANA during the previous period. His dedication, hard work, and leadership have led this Company to obtain many proud achievements,” he added.
The Farewell and Welcome Event for the President Director of DAHANA was also attended by Series B shareholders of PT Len Industri (Persero) as the Parent Holding of DEFEND ID, President Commissioner of DAHANA Donny Ermawan Taufanto, the board of commissioners and directors of DAHANA, Tataliwargi, and all employees of the DAHANA Jakarta Office.
The day before, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the Paturay Tineung & Mapag event for the President Director was also held at the DAHANA Auditorium, Subang, West Java. On that occasion, Mr Widarman shared his career experiences at PT DAHANA in a Sharing Session hosted by SM Legal and Corporate Communication Juli Jajuli. Wildan emphasized the importance of a culture of innovation for the company amidst vulnerable business conditions.
“I personally apologize and thank everybody for the cooperation of the shareholders, the board of directors, and all DAHANA people, and congratulations to Mr. Syaifuddin who has been appointed by President Director of PT DAHANA. It is hope that under the Mr. Syaifuddin’s leadership, DAHANA will continue to advance and develop,” concluded Mr Widarman.
