PT DAHANA’s Board of Directors (BOD) met with Indonesia’s Minister of Industry, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, along with the Deputy Minister of Industry, Faisol Riza, to obtain guidance and direction regarding the Domestic Content Level (TKDN).
PT DAHANA’s BOD consisting of President Director Syaifuddin, Director of Operations Yusep Nugraha, Director of Finance, MR and HR Ahyanizzaman, and Director of Technology & Development Suhendra Yusuf, with the Director of Business and Cooperation of PT Len Industri (Persero), Wahyu Sofiadi, were warmly welcomed on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Ministry of Industry in Jakarta.
PT DAHANA’s explosives products and services have helped boost the national economy, especially in the mining sector with a high Domestic Content Level (TKDN). On that occasion, PT DAHANA’s Directors expressed their appreciation to the Ministry of Industry for providing guidance and support for achieving the TKDN.
“With guidance and direction from the Minister of Industry and his staff, PT DAHANA’s products continue to experience an increase in TKDN to above 80%,” said Mr Syaifuddin.
Currently, DAHANA is one of the major players in the explosives industry, especially in the mining sector. PT DAHANA’s products and services have developed over time with a high level of domestic content. PT DAHANA joined the Indonesian Defense Industry SOEss Holding (DEFEND ID) with a vision of becoming a leading national industry in high-energy materials (Energetic Materials) by producing highly competitive and environmentally friendly products and services.
PT DAHANA is equipped with an integrated explosives production facility to meet consumer needs in the commercial sector, especially in the mining and construction sectors. The production facilities owned by DAHANA in the Subang Energetic Material Center Area are an important capital to compete in the regional area. Most recently, the Ammonium Nitrate Factory in Bontang, East Kalimantan was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, thus increasing the company’s competitiveness in the world explosives market.
“Thank God, PT DAHANA gets customer’s continuous trusted. Hundreds of domestic and foreign companies rely on PT DAHANA’s blasting products and services. DAHANA’s income has continued to grow since the era of business transformation until now,” said Mr Syaifuddin.
DAHANA as a state-owned enterprise (SOEs) in accordance with the policy of the Minister of State-owned Enterprises runs a Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) program. The program includes the Education Sector which provides among others scholarships and educational facilities; the Social Sector which offers assistance to the disabled and veterans; and the Economic Sector which helps upgrade MSME programs.
