PT DAHANA delivered compensation for 12 members of the Indonesian Veteran Legion (LVRI) in Cibogo District. All DAHANA directors handed over the basic food packages and cash assistance at the 2024 Heroes’ Day commemoration ceremony, Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the DAHANA Football Field, in Subang, West Java.
DAHANA’s President Director, Syaifuddin, said that providing compensation to veterans is a company culture from year to year on every Heroes’ Day commemoration. This shows DAHANA’s concern and gratitude to the fighters who have fought for the Republic of Indonesia.
“This compensation expresses our appreciation and highlights DAHANA’s concern for Indonesian veterans who bravely defended our nation’s independence. We hope to embody the exemplary values of these heroes in our work and daily lives,” Mr Syaifuddin remarked.
As part of the BUMN Defense Industry holding DEFEND ID, DAHANA is close to the components that fight for and defend the Republic of Indonesia. Moreover, DAHANA itself was born from the womb of the Indonesian Air Force through the Menang Project.
Mr. Syaifuddin stated that the veterans fought to establish and defend the Republic of Indonesia, striving to uphold the country’s ideals of maintaining world peace. Similarly, the people at DAHANA have a heroic responsibility to continue innovating in the field of explosives, thereby strengthening Indonesia’s defense.
Meanwhile, the Head of the LVRI Cibogo District Branch Council, Dadang Suherlan, expressed his gratitude to DAHANA who always cares about its members. Mr Suherlan also prayed that DAHANA would continue to advance and develop to become a respected explosives company in the world.
“Thank you PT DAHANA for caring for our members. Being invited and given assistance on this Heroes’ Day proves that DAHANA really appreciates the sacrifices of its predecessors. Hopefully PT DAHANA will continue to advance, becoming a respected bomb company in the world,” hoped Mr Suherlan.
