PT DAHANA, the Indonesian explosives mecca company, provided assistance to Tunas Harapan Kindergarten located in Dukuh I hamlet Village in Cibogo District, Regency of Subang. This assistance was handed over by Janitra Yoga, a personnel of PT DAHANA Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Unit (TJSL) personnel to Kurniasih, a representative Tunas Harapan kindergarten on Friday, 19 May 2023.

Mr Yoga said that the aid from DAHANA was intended to assist schools to recover from the severe damage caused by the tornado that hit Subang some time ago.

The assistance was mainly focused on repair of classroom roofs and playground equipment. The school suffered quite severe damage as a result of the destructive power of the tornado. As a response to the situation, PT DAHANA was there to show its commitment to the community and concern for education in Subang Regency.

“This assistance is a form of the company’s concern for the education sector, especially for Tunas Harapan Kindergarten which some time ago was damaged by the tornado that hit Subang. This aid is proof of the company’s commitment to helping advance and develop with the surrounding community,” said Mr Yoga.

A similar view was also expressed by the Head of PT DAHANA SER unit, Eman Suherman. Mr Suherman said that by providing much-needed improvements, PT DAHANA hoped to restore a conducive learning environment for students. The repaired classrooms will provide comfort and safety, allowing children to continue their learning process with enthusiasm and joy. Upgraded play tools will also contribute to the development and enjoyment of learners during learning time.

Meanwhile, Miss Kurniasih, representing Tunas Harapan kindergarten, expressed her gratitude to PT DAHANA for their support for roof repairs and play equipment. Miss Kurniasih said that this assistance could revive students’ enthusiasm for learning.

“We on behalf of the family of Tunas Harapan Kindergarten, express our deepest gratitude to DAHANA, who has provided assistance for roof repair and upgraded play equipment. We hope that DAHANA will progress and develop in the future,” said Miss Kurniasih.
