PT DAHANA has shut down its production equipment in an initiative called the Management Walkthrough Shutdown Process, conducted prior to the Eid al-Fitr holiday. This action, aimed at ensuring the safety and security of residents near the company, took place on March 25 and 26, 2025.

Sudirjo Heru, DAHANA’s the General Manager of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (OSHE) explained that this shutdown activity is a regular practice before extended holidays like Eid al-Fitr. He emphasized the importance of this procedure to guarantee safety for both DAHANA employees and the surrounding community, allowing everyone to enjoy the holiday in peace.

“This initiative reflects DAHANA management’s commitment to providing comfort and security for our employees and the local community by ensuring that all production facilities are not operational during the Eid al-Fitr 1446 H holiday. This will help minimize the risk of emergencies in the area,” stated Mr Heru.

Mr Heru, alongside Dadan Munawar, the General Manager of Production, and Moch Surya Nugraha, the General Manager of Development and Information Technology, as well as the security team and other relevant units, conducted inspections of all production and support facilities owned by the company in Subang Regency.

PT DAHANA is known for having the most comprehensive explosives facilities in the ASEAN region. Management recognizes that DAHANA operates in an industry with significant risks. As such, they have implemented various health, safety, security, and environmental (OSHE) regulations to achieve a goal of zero incidents.

Despite adhering to the highest security standards, including being classified as a National Vital Object, management remains vigilant to prevent any unwanted incidents, particularly during the long Eid al-Fitr holiday.

“We, the entire extended family of DAHANA, wish all employees and the surrounding community a happy Eid. We hope this Eid brings blessings to everyone,” concluded Mr Heru.
