DAHANA’s Bonded Logistics Center (PLB) offers a great deal of benefits for oil and gas players in Indonesia. This was conveyed by DAHANA’s Director of Operations Yusep Nugraha during the 2024 IPA Convention & Exhibition (Convex), at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, South Tangerang, Wednesday, 15 May 2024.

Mr Nugraha said that DAHANA’s PLB offers benefits such as legal certainty in which DAHANA’s PLB customs procedures are regulated through Minister of Finance Regulation No. 272/PMK.04/2015 on Bonded Logistics Centers, and regulations from the Director General of Customs and Excise as derivative technical regulations.

“As we know, legal certainty is an important issue in every business process. DAHANA’s PLB offers this certainty to make sure consumer businesses can run effectively and accountably,” said Mr Nugraha.

In addition, DAHANA’s PLB presence in the Energetic Material Center (EMC) area– which is supported by the largest explosives development facility in Southeast Asia, as well as its strategic location close to toll roads, ports and airports– can cut a lot of transportation costs and save distribution costs.

Apart from that, DAHANA’s PLB is also equipped with warehouse management with inventory management system and CCTV. “Owing to our technological developments, DAHANA wishes to provide certainty and comfort to customers in the form of an inventory management system and CCTV to ensure consumers can check the whereabouts of explosives anywhere and at any time,” Mr Nugraha said..

With the available various advantages, DAHANA’s PLB has become the king in explosives bonded warehousing for oil and gas industrial companies. Demand for PLB has continued to increase since 2016, with 90% of oil and gas companies operating in Indonesia using the DAHANA’s PLB Facility.
