On Thursday (6/12), PT DAHANA (Persero) Central Management Office (Campus) was visited by dozens of Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) employees, who were participants of training held by PHE in Bandung, West Java.
“We are currently conducting training for fellow ranks of PHE subsidiaries in Bandung. A visit to DAHANA is to study and review its warehousing, namely PLB,” said Muryadi, PHE’s Security Manager to Dfile. (6/12/2018).
More specifically, Muryadi said that the group present at DAHANA was the training participants of licensing, security and supervision of commercial explosives. One of the materials given at the training is about warehousing.
“To see how warehouses are in accordance with the rules, we invite the participants to see the explosives warehousing in DAHANA,” Muryadi explained.
The reason for coming to visit the DAHANA warehouse, as explained by Muryadi, besides being located near the training site, is that one of the PHE subsidiaries is also using the DAHANA warehouse facility.
“Some PHE subsidiaries are utilizing the DAHANA warehousing, so we can see how the warehouses are,” he added.
The group was accompanied by Aditya Prima Dewayana, Senior Manager of Operations & Services at the Oil and Gas Division, to see and enter DAHANA warehousing in the Energetic Material Center (EMC) area.
As stated by Aditya Prima, DAHANA in its business line has warehousing services, which can be used by Oil and Gas Contractors of Cooperation Contracts (KKKS).
In this case, DAHANA provides warehousing facilities that are safe for storage of explosives and other accessories. The location of warehousing is also very strategic; it is available in Subang, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin and Samarinda and has been equipped with safety standards that are in accordance with industry standards and a large capacity for storing explosives, detonators and other explosive accessories.
Since 2016, PT Dahana has obtained a Bonded Logistics Center (PLB) facility from the Government. This will greatly help and facilitate the provision of explosives, especially oil and gas explosives.
There are several differences in services between Bonded Warehouses (GB) and Bonded Logistics Center, such as: in PLB the accumulation period can be up to 3 years and can be extended, while in GM the period of accumulation is limited to 1 year. Bonded Logistics Center can facilitate the completion of masterlist facilities in the oil and gas industry, which cannot be done at Bonded Warehouses. (SYA)
