DAHANA, for the second time, participated in International Indonesia Geothermal Convention and Exhibiton (IICGE) 2018. The exhibition was held by Indonesian Geothermal Association (INAGA) in Cendrawasih Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, 6 – 8 September 2018.
Ignatius Jonan, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources officially opened the exhibition. During his speech, Jonan underlined the importance of community socialization on the advantage of environmental friendly energy. Jonan also urged to speed up development of geothermal to reach the government target which is 7,200 MW in the year of 2025.
“In 2018, Indonesia’s geothermal production reached a figure of 1924 MW during the first quarter; such capacity made it possible for Indonesia to replace the Philippines from the second largest geothermal production position,” said Jonan in front of the participants.
PT DAHANA (Persero) encouraged the speed up of geothermal development by providing explosive drilling service using Dayatech ShapedCharges. Dayatech Shapedcharges are used to perforate cemented casing pipes of oil well which enables oil to go through the perforated casing pipe for further pumping out. Content of Shaped charges are explosive of RDX and high temperature HMX explosives.
According to Senior Manager for Oil and gas Operation and Customer Service Division, Aditya Prima Dewayana, in addition to Dayatech ShapedCharges, DAHANA also offered Bunker Management System, which is a service for construction of permanent or non-permanent storehouses within the geothermal operation area.
“DAHANA also offers explosive storehouse management service, including provision of bunker supervision, storehouse security, inventory control and explosive mobilization to the well location,” said Prima.
DAHANA’s booth for the exhibition was located in Hall Cendrawasih Blok C-16b between FUJI and Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia. Visitors to DAHANA’s booth will be served by the Oil and Gas Division and DAHANA’s Public Relations staff with extensive experience in geothermal.(YQ)
