PT DAHANA (Persero) held a DAHANA Sharing Session (SSD) 2021 under the theme of DAHANA Reflection  in order to communicate DAHANA’s 2021.  The event was open for all employees and featured Top Management as a speaker. This town hall meeting model meeting was held in a hybrid manner from the Smart Room of the DAHANA Subang Campus on Monday, January 10, 2022.


In his remarks, DAHANA’s President Director Wildan Widarman said that forums like SSD are a vehicle for regeneration, distribution of knowledge, and to increase the capacity of company talents who will continue to lead in the company engaged in the explosives industry.


“Apart from that, this SSD is also a series before we go to the 2022 Work Plan and Budget Elaboration Work Plan,” said Mr Widarman.


According to  Mr Widarman, the industry in which DAHANA is engaged in is an activity that is very much needed by Indonesia for the fact that DAHANA is a support to national energy. In the mining sector, explosives are the main material for mining products; in terms of construction and quarries which is being developed by the government, explosives also play an important role.


Following the removal of the explosives monopoly, PT DAHANA (Persero) has been increasingly innovating to provide the best services and products for consumers. Currently, DAHANA is facing tough competition in the explosives industry, not only with local companies, but also with international explosives players.


Mr Widarman also emphasized that all DAHANA employees are considered as valuable to the company; not only those who are at the forefront of service, such as employees who work on the site; but both employees who work at the Energetic Material Center (EMC), and the company’s support team are.


The SSD forum, added Mr Widarman, is a pathway for DAHANA’s personnel to gain perspectives and issues related to company development. The entire board of directors shares knowledge and future direction of the company’s policies and how to make corporate serve as a space to get a breakthrough from shared thinking.


“Of the many issues, we must make priority. We are a business entity and the dynamics are extraordinary, there is VUCA, even TUNA. We need to develop the required certain skills. To deal with that, we must establish good communication. If the millennials wish to talk, I will provide time. Let’s look at 2022 in a better way,” he concluded.
