“Kartini in Action, Kartini Inspires”: Dahana Spotlights a Local Hero Empowering MSMEs

To commemorate Kartini Day, PT Dahana held an event titled “Kartini Creates, Kartini Inspires” at Serba Nanas Alam Sari, Subang, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. The event was attended by representatives from IIKK Tatali Wargi Sekar Arum and selected female employees of PT Dahana as a tangible demonstration of strengthening the role of women within the company and the community.

The event began with an opening ceremony, followed by remarks from the Chairwoman of IIKK Tatali Wargi Sekar Arum at PT Dahana, Ms. Fera Churairah. In her remarks, she stated that the commemoration of Kartini Day is not merely an annual ceremony but also a momentum to encourage women to continue creating and inspiring others in various fields.

“Today’s Kartini is a woman capable of making tangible contributions, both in the workplace and in society. Through this event, we aim to strengthen the values of unity, collaboration, and the spirit of continuous growth,” said Ms. Fera.

Remarks were also delivered by the owner of Alam Sari, Mrs. Imaroh, who was simultaneously designated as a Local Hero during this event. This designation was based on her role as a representation of the “Modern-Day Kartini” in Subang, demonstrating resilience and innovation in developing local potential.

“Activities like this are very meaningful, because they not only celebrate Kartini Day but also provide direct benefits to MSME owners and the surrounding community. We hope this collaboration will continue and have a broader positive impact,” said Ms. Imaroh.

Ms. Imaroh has been recognized for successfully transforming raw Subang pineapples into high-value-added products capable of reaching a wider market.
