DAHANA held a pound fit sport in the Wednesday Rame-rame Bergerak (BuRGer) special agenda on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in the yard of the DAHANA Campus, Subang, West Java. This routine activity is led by the Public Relations Unit which oversees Arts and Sports in order to implement Work-Life Balance for employees.

DAHANA’s Corporate Communication Manager Cipta Ismaya Kusumah said that work-life balance is a need for employees as well as the Company. For employees, having a work-life balance will lead to a healthy, fit condition and may reduce stress due to work routines.

“Meanwhile, for the company, it will bring some health benefit to help prevent employees from getting sick, elevate creativity and innovation, strengthen productivity and ultimately will bring increased profits for the company. Hopefully with this special BuRGeR, more employees will be aware of the importance of work-life balance,” said Mr Kusumah.

He added that the selection of pound fit sports or sports using drumsticks that combine Pilates, yoga, and fun movements is the organizer’s effort to ensure that BuRGer activities are more varied, not just jogging and dancing. So it is our hope that that more employees will be interested in joining the BuRGer (Rabu Bersama-sama Bergerak) program.

The BuRGer program is a form of DAHANA’s concern for employee welfare, where the Company does not only cares about financial welfare, but also mental well-being amidst the increasing number of problematic mental health cases in Indonesia.

Furthermore, DAHANA is a company engaged in the explosives industry with extreme risk potentials and therefore employee fitness and mental health are very important to maintain zero-accident in every DAHANA’s operation.

“Apart from that, the BuRGer activity is also the creation of an internal communication space that brings together all DAHANA people from across units and work divisions. So it is hoped that the relationship among employees can be warmer and more productive to develop and advance DAHANA,” concluded Mr Kusumah.
