Jakarta, June 14, 2025 – The Indo Defense 2024 international defense exhibition entered its fourth day, now open to the public. Thousands of visitors flocked to JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta, particularly the DEFEND ID Pavilion, which showcased various defense technologies developed by local companies, including PT DAHANA.
The PT DAHANA booth was a major attraction, drawing visitors from diverse backgrounds—ranging from students to defense technology enthusiasts—who were eager to explore various strategic products resulting from domestic innovation. Notable items on display included the Merapi Missile, Bomb P Series, and a range of military explosives developed by PT DAHANA.
Arfian, the Military Explosives Research Supervisor at PT DAHANA, commented that visitors not only had the chance to see the products firsthand but also received detailed technical explanations from the DAHANA team regarding the functions and advantages of each product. This experience served as both an educational opportunity and a way to enhance public understanding of the importance of a self-sufficient national defense industry.
Cipta Ismaya Kusumah, DAHANA’s Senior Manager of Corporate and SER Communications, expressed appreciation for the public’s enthusiasm for domestic defense products. He emphasized that public engagement, particularly from the younger generation, fosters positive momentum for DAHANA’s continued innovation.
“Public involvement, especially from the younger generation, is crucial in supporting the advancement of the national defense industry. We believe that through proper education, the awareness of the importance of defense independence will grow and take hold within society,” stated Mr Kusumah.
Fakhri, one of the visitors at the DAHANA booth, shared his excitement about the exhibited products. He noted that the exhibition broadens public awareness of the national defense industry, particularly the Defense Industry Holding DEFEND ID.
“I am very proud to see defense products made in Indonesia up close. It turns out we have a Defense Industry Holding operating in the defense sector, each with its own specialization. I hope that in the future, the national defense industry continues to produce innovative products that we can be proud of,” said Fakhri.
