PT Dahana CEO Hary Irmawan served as a speaker at the Panel Discussion for the 55th Regular Course (Dikreg LV) of the TNI Command and Staff College (Sesko TNI), organized by Sesko TNI in Bandung on Friday, May 8, 2026. In support of the strategic role of Indonesia’s defense industry, PT Dahana, as a member of the defense industry holding company (Defend ID), fully supported this event.
This year’s panel discussion addressed the theme “The Strategic Role of the Defense Industry in Addressing Current Global Geopolitical and Geostrategic Developments to Support Indonesia’s Defense Readiness.” The theme highlights the importance of strengthening the national defense industry amid increasingly complex global geopolitical dynamics. This event, which brought together all CEOs affiliated with the Defend ID Defense Industry Holding, is part of efforts to strengthen synergy between the national defense industry and strategic stakeholders in supporting the nation’s defense readiness and promoting the self-reliance of the national defense industry.
On this occasion, Hary Irmawan presented a paper titled “Development of Energetic Materials for National Defense Self-Reliance.” The presentation emphasized the importance of mastering energetic material technology as a strategic component in supporting national defense readiness and strengthening the domestic defense industry.
“Mastery of energetic materials technology is a key factor in supporting the self-reliance of the national defense industry. PT Dahana continues to strive to strengthen national capabilities through innovation, technological development, and strategic collaboration with various parties,” said Hary Irmawan.
In addition to technological development, PT Dahana also promotes strengthened collaboration between the defense industry, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the government, academia, and research institutions to accelerate the mastery of national strategic technologies.
