PT DAHANA and Subang Media Crew held a joint fast breaking event. The event, which was packaged as a DAHANA Media Gathering, was held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Mang Yeye restaurant in Subang. This event was attended by more than 30 journalists and led directly by PT DAHANA’s Senior Manager of Legal & Corporate Communications, Juli Jajuli.
During this casual event, DAHANA again explained the programs that have been and will be implemented by the Company, both in terms of business development and community awareness programs.
“Thank God, for the Company’s advancement. PT DAHANA – PT Pupuk Kaltim Ammonium Nitrate Plant located in Bontang was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo on February 29, 2024. This plant has strategic value for DAHANA’s future business development,” said Mr Jajuli.
When fully operational, the plant is capable of producing 75,000 metric tons of ammonium nitrate per year and 60,000 metric tons of nitric acid per year. This amount is expected to be able to substitute imports in response to domestic needs for ammonium nitrate. In addition to that, independence in fulfilling domestic ammonium nitrate with SOEs ownership has a direct impact on increasing the Domestic Content Level (TKDN) of the products.
Meanwhile, as for the Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER), DAHANA is holding the GEMA RAMADAN program which offers with various activities.
“This year PT DAHANA’s SER Team is holding many social activities to help the community. This is a form of DAHANA’s commitment, especially to the environment around the company in Subang Regency,” said Mr Jajuli.
The GEMA RAMADAN program includes assistance for mosque staff, charity of prayer facilities for mosques around the company, cash charity for orphans, distribution of free takjil (fast breaking snack) culminating in the free communal homecoming on April 5, 2024. DAHANA provided a total of 6 buses in this program, of which 3 buses departed from Subang and 3 other buses depart from Bandung in a joint program with Holding DEFEND ID.
On the occasion of the communal fast breaking, DAHANA also expressed its gratitude for the good cooperation that has existed between the media and the Company so far.
