PT DAHANA exhibited innovative products from the Energetic Material Center (EMC) at the Defense Service Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA) exhibition. The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Home Affairs of Malaysia and held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Center (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 6 to 9 May 9, 2024.
DSA 2024 is a biennial event that brings together policy makers, defense and security institutions, think tanks, and defense industry players to discuss and promote the development of new technologies and systems in the defense and security.
This event also showcased technology, systems, hardware and electronics in the defense and security sector. The event is attended by 1,200 companies from 60 countries in the world, 33 international group pavilions, 400 foreign defense delegations, with a target of 50,000 visitors attending. DSA is seen as a large strategic market for the Indonesian defense industry.

The Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude for the invitation to attend DSA 2024 in Malaysia. “I hope that defense industry cooperation between Malaysia and Indonesia can continue in good and sustainable way”
Meanwhile, DAHANA’s Director of Technology and Development Suhendra Yusuf RPN said that DAHANA as a member of DEFEND ID carries a shared responsibility to realize the dream of becoming an important player in the global defense industry supply chain. Therefore, participation in DSA is considered very important.
“This is the second time DAHANA has come to the DSA Malaysia exhibition after joining DEFEND ID. DAHANA’s presence is a way to emphasize that the Indonesian defense industry can compete with the world’s defense industry. We remain optimistic that Holding Defense ID can reach the top 50 best defense industry companies in the world,” said Mr Yusuf during the exhibition.
With regards to the visitor and expo participant’s interests towards Dahana, Mr Yusuf said that DAHANA has received quite high interest as marked by visits and business talks from delegations from Ukraine, Turkiye, Malaysia and Bulgaria.
For the exhibition, DAHANA displayed mock ups of products engineered by the Energetic Material Center (EMC) such as the Bomb P Series, Bomb P 100 L, Bomb P 250 L, and Bomb P 500 L for application in combat or training assigned to Sukhoi fighter jets to destroy surfaces.
DAHANA also showcased the 122B Defense Rocket which can be used to destroy ground targets with a range of 25-30 km and the 450 Defense Rocket with a 450mm caliber which can destroy ground targets within a minimum range of 100 km.
Apart from that, DAHANA exhibited mock ups of commercial explosives such as the Dayagel Series, Dayagel Seismic, DANFO, Dayadet Non-electric Detonator, Dabex, and Ammonium Nitrate. Also present to accompany the Dahana delegation at the exhibition were GM of the Quarries and Construction Division Setio Budhianto and Vice President of Corporate Finance Erik Sugianto.
