The DKM (Mosque Management Board) of DAHANA Green Mosque recently held a gathering with representatives from the MUI (Indonesian Ulema Council) of Cibogo Subang District. This informal event took place on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the Dahana Subang Campus. The discussions centered around a collaboration plan between DKM and MUI aimed at enhancing the DAHANA Green Mosque.

The DKM management was represented by Juli Jajuli and Abdul Latip, who served as advisors, alongside Fajri Parmi, Head of the Da’wah and Inter-agency Cooperation Division. From MUI, the attendees included Bibin Bunyamin (Head of Cibogo Religion Affairs Offiec), IIm Busro (Chairman of MUI Cibogo), and other notable figures such as Yadi Subhan, Deden Abi Warga, Aceng Sambas, and Ipik Mustofa.

Currently, PT DAHANA is implementing a revitalization program for the DAHANA Green Mosque, which includes renovation of the physical structure to ensure worshippers feel comfortable. Furthermore, the management is rebranding the mosque, formerly known as Al Akhdar, to establish it as the DAHANA Green Mosque.

Mr Jajuli stated that as a green company, DAHANA is revitalizing the Al Akhdar Mosque with an environmentally friendly concept. Over the next two months, renovations will be carried out to enhance the mosque’s beauty, making it “Instagrammable,” as well as providing a clean environment, spacious and secure parking, and other supportive facilities.

“This mosque is located in a strategic position along the central route of Java Island and can serve as a transit point for travelers or those returning home. We want the congregation of the Al Akhdar Mosque to be able to worship in peace and comfort, as well as have a place to rest,” said Mr Jajuli.

Additionally, the DAHANA Green Mosque aims to become a hub for religious activities for employees, students, and the broader community in Subang Regency. Planned activities include tahsin (Quran recitation), taklim (religious study), commemoration of Islamic holidays, training sessions, and various initiatives that can improve spiritual values and empower the community.

To achieve these goals, the DKM of the DAHANA Green Mosque is eager to collaborate with various stakeholders, including local MUI representatives. This strategic initiative was positively received by Bibin Bunyamin, the Head of KUA Cibogo Office for Religious Affairs. He expressed, “We are pleased with the steps taken by the DKM management of the DAHANA Green Mosque. It is essential for this mosque to be well-known and beneficial to the community.”

In the Quick Win program for the first quarter of 2025, the DKM of the DAHANA Green Mosque has outlined several initiatives, including mosque renovations, refreshment of mosque management, training sessions, Tarhib Ramadhan (welcoming Ramadan), free Takjil (light meals), Pesantren Kilat (fast-track Islamic education during Ramadan), Nuzulul Qur’an (commemoration of the Quran’s revelation), congregational Tarawih prayers, I’tikaf (spiritual retreat during the last ten nights of Ramadan), and homecoming posts.
