PT DAHANA managed to make history by recording a net profit of Rp260.7 billion in 2022. This achievement has increased significantly from the net profit in 2021 which amounted to Rp25.5 billion. This was conveyed by the President Director of PT DAHANA Wildan Widarman at the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) of Defense Industry SOEs, DEFEND ID which was held at the Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta, Monday, 26 June 2023.
Mr Widarman said that despite the fact that the Company was under the shadow of Covid-19, DAHANA’s people were able to improve superior performance. Armed with AKHLAK’s core values, the Company was able to record the highest profits in the Company’s history. According to Mr Widarman, the achievement record in 2022 must be continually improved.
“Thank God, in 2022, DAHANA was able to record significant achievement. This is due to the good cooperation between the GMS, the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, and the excellent performance of all DAHANA’s people. We hope that this achievement will not overwhelm us. The company should maintain and even exceed the 2022 achievements in the coming years,” said Mr Widarman.
Based on the report audited by the Public Accounting Firm Gani Sigiro & Handayani “Grant Thornton”, the Company’s performance has also increased in various areas such as the Company’s Health Level with a score of 92.00 “Healthy AA” exceeding the 2022 budget plan target which scored 78.5 “Healthy A”. In the second GMS after officially joining DEFEND ID, DAHANA was also noted to have complied with all material matters in the compliance aspect.
This achievement shows DAHANA’s ability to lead the explosives industry in the country. However, the company with the most complete explosives facilities in ASEAN region also has the wish to expand its market share in the highly competitive explosives industry.
During the GMS, Mr Widarman expressed his appreciation to the entire team involved in the Company’s success. He also conveyed DAHANA’s commitment to continuing to innovate, expand product portfolios, and improve service quality to customers.
