Defense Industry Holding DEFEND ID held a General Meeting of Shareholders for the 2023 Fiscal Year Business Performance Report (AGMS) at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta on Friday, June 28, 2024. DEFEND ID President Director Bobby Rasyidin revealed the performance achievements of the holding in 2023.

“Our financial performance has skyrocketed in 2023. Our contract revenue realization grew by 29.65% from 2022. And in terms of business revenue, it grew significantly by 27.92% from 2022,” said Mr Rasyidin Bobby in a press conference after the AGMS.

During the AGM, all members of the DEFEND ID holding consisting of PT Len Industri (Persero), PT DAHANA, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT PINDAD, and PT PAL Indonesia submitted their performance reports to shareholders.

Acting President Director of PT DAHANA Ahyanizzaman reported the Company’s performance achievements in the 2023 budget year with realized operating revenues of Rp3.9 trillion. He also said that even though the explosives industry has been in a very competitive situation, DAHANA was able to maintain its superior performance and again recorded encouraging operating revenues.

“DAHANA’s progress achievement cannot be separated from the role of shareholders, the board of commissioners, the board of directors, all employees, and the trust and loyalty of consumers. Therefore, allow us to express our deepest gratitude to all those involved in efforts to advance DAHANA,” said Mr Ahyanizzaman.

DAHANA also achieved 99.37% of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) target which was audited by the Public Accounting Firm Gani Sigiro & Handayani “Grant Thornton”. In addition, DAHANA also received an idA-/Stable (Single A Minus; Stable Outlook) rating from the Pefindo Rating Agency.

DAHANA’s operating revenue in 2023 was realized at Rp3.9 trillion, an increase of 118.1% from that of 2022 which was Rp3.3 trillion. This achievement proves that DAHANA is still a major player in the explosives industry in the country.

However, Mr Ahyanizzaman also advised that DAHANA employees should not be satisfied with the existing achievements, considering the very dynamic business climate and the global situation that has not improved. He hoped that all employees will maintain an innovative spirit to solve all business problems and challenges, which will ultimately bring prosperity to the company, employees, and other stakeholders in the community.

“It is our hope that all DAHANA people can give their best in every line of business, improve their existing competencies to strengthen capabilities in underground mining, develop drilling and blasting businesses, maximize and develop the capacity of the Ammonium Nitrate Factory, boost exports and as a member of Holding DEFEND ID, DAHANA people can innovate to develop explosives products and services in the military sector,” said Mr Ahyanizzaman.
