Tatali Wargi PT DAHANA held a Parenting Seminar titled “Bright as a Wife, Knowledgeable as a Mother” delivered by the Indonesian Doctors’ Wives Association, Subang Chapter, Maya Sumantri. The activity, which DAHANA’s President Director Syaifuddin opened, took place at the PT DAHANA Auditorium, Subang, West Java, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
In his remarks, Mr Syaifuddin expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the various programs carried out by the Tatali Wargi management such as social care, charity, religious studies, and participation in the Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Week which have left impact on members and the wider community.
“Hopefully the sustainability of these programs will bring more goodness and blessings to all of us. Mother’s Day is a very valuable momentum to remind us all about the extraordinary role of mothers in shaping the nation’s generation. For that, I would like to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all the great mothers present here. Thank you for your dedication, love, and hard work that have been given to educate children and accompany families,” said Mr Syaifuddin.
Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of Tatali Wargi DAHANA Arum Manggarsari said that there is a saying behind a great or successful man there is a great woman’s role. Tatali Wargi hopes to become an organization that helps encourage the success of husbands who work at DAHANA, and ultimately bring progress to the company.
“At today’s event, we aim to present ourselves as supportive wives who strengthen our families and work hard to build strong households. We also want to represent ourselves as mothers who instill good values in our children and bring happiness both in this life and in the hereafter.”
Next, Ms Sumantri, who is also a graduate in psychology, delivered her presentation by discussing the concept of Berseri (beriman, senyuman, riang = faithful, cheerful, happy) as a wife. Faith can also be interpreted as being obedient to one’s husband as long as one does not invite him to sin, always smiling between husband and wife so that Allah’s grace can be sent down, and always being cheerful which is interpreted as remaining content with the husband’s gifts.
“Being knowledgeable as a mother can be interpreted as being a non-stop learner while remaining strong and resilient in facing various problems; staying warm, gentle and friendly to children, and being self-sufficient. More than that, mothers have four main times, namely the time for themselves, time with their partners, time with family, and time for socializing,” concluded Ms Sumantri.
After the presentation, the event continued with the 2024 Inspiring Women Award to DAHANA’s employees who have given their best dedication to the Company, and become role models for other women in their respective divisions.
