PT DAHANA held Tabligh Akbar (large gathering) and Cheer Competition among Majelis Taklim (non-formal Islamic institution) throughout Subang Regency for closing of the 2024 SER Week. The activity, was opened by Acting Corporate Secretary Erwin Cipta Mulyana at Bale DAHANA, Subang, West Java, on Friday, October 18, 2024.
In his remarks, Mr Mulyana said that the Tabligh Akbar activity is a da’wah (conveying the message of Islam to Muslim and non-Muslim as well) forum that involves lectures, sermons, and discussions on relevant religious themes such as the Majelis Taklim Cheer Competition, Tausiyah (religious teaching), Al-Quran Reading & Orphanage Assistance.
“This event is a form of gratitude from the Company for being given a long life with various achievements, as well as an expression of gratitude for all the prayers given by the community so far, so that DAHANA can continue to advance and develop,” said Mr Mulyana.
The 2024 DAHANA SER started on Monday, October 13, 2024 with various activities such as the Art Creation Competition for junior high schools and equivalent, Drawing Competition, Art Creation, and Tahfidz (Al-Quran learning technique) for PAUD level, Storytelling Competition for elementary school level and DAHANA Singing Competition Batch II for high school level and equivalent.
In addition to the competition for the young generation of Subang, the Committee also successfully organized health programs such as stunting counseling, provision of additional food, prolanis gymnastics, and blood donation in collaboration with the UPTD Cibogo Subang Health Center, and the PMI of Subang Regency.
At the Tabligh Akbar event, DAHANA invited famous preacher Ali Nurdin to be the closing speaker for the 2024 SER Week. Meanwhile, in the cheerleading competition among Majelis Taklims, the participants welcomed the competition enthusiastically. The Judge finally decided that the Majelis Taklim of Cibogo Village won First Place, followed by Belendung Village as the Second Winner, Majasari Village as the Third Winner, and Sumur Barang Village as the Runner-up.
“Thank you, Ustadz Ali Nurdin who has taken the time to give a lecture at the DAHANA Tabligh Akbar. Allow us to ask for prayers from all attendees, so that at the age of 58, the Company will receive more blessings, so that more people will benefit from the company’s SER programs,” Mr Mulyana hoped.
