State-owned company, PT DAHANA, through Operations Director Yusep Nugraha, recently highlighted the Company’s strategic role in construction projects, particularly in tunnel construction or “tunneling.” This message was conveyed by Mr Nugraha during a press statement at the DAHANA office in Jakarta on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
Mr Nugraha mentioned that PT DAHANA has successfully accelerated the completion of various National Strategic Projects (PSN). This achievement demonstrates that DAHANA’s products, services, and human resources are highly qualified and capable of completing projects within the designated timeframes.
“For us, DAHANA’s involvement in various PSNs is not solely about generating profit for the company. More importantly, it reflects our commitment to serving the country better. We hope that the PSNs we have developed will provide significant benefits to the community,” stated Mr Nugraha.
Among the successful tunneling projects completed by DAHANA are the Batang Toru Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA) and the Upper Cisokan PLTA, both of which contribute to meeting national energy needs. Additionally, DAHANA has worked on constructing tunnels at the Budong-Budong Dam and the Pamakkulu Dam, which serve as sources for irrigation and flood control. In the transportation sector, DAHANA constructed the tunnel for the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Train, as well as various toll roads in Java and Sumatra.
In the construction sector, DAHANA provides a One-Stop Solution service, which includes an integrated explosives service encompassing the provision of explosives supplies, drilling and blasting, loading and hauling, consultation, handling, warehousing, and licensing.
