PT DAHANA, a company in the strategic industry that provides integrated explosives services and is part of a State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), is committed to strengthening its efforts in supervising and eradicating corruption. PT DAHANA has implemented various strategic measures to ensure Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and foster a business environment free from corruption.

As a tangible expression of this commitment, DAHANA has collaborated with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to promote the prevention of gratification and corruption. This initiative involves educating all employees about the importance of rejecting gratification, which could compromise objectivity in decision-making.

Mohamad Nur Sodiq, DAHANA’s Director of Finance, Risk Management, and HR, stated that the Company’s efforts to enhance supervision and combat corruption align with President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita agenda within the Ministry of SOEs, particularly regarding the prevention and eradication of corruption.

“This socialization is a crucial step toward ensuring transparency in our business processes while underscoring the significance of integrity, transparency, accountability, and comprehensive implementation of GCG across all company divisions,” said Mr Sodiq in Subang on January 20th . “Furthermore, this supports President Prabowo’s Asta Cita administration.”

Additionally, DAHANA has issued a Board of Directors’ Decree establishing the Anti-Bribery Compliance Function (FKAP) and appointed employees as members of FKAP. This unit focuses on controlling bribery and gratification within the company, promoting a Good Corporate Governance process that is free from corruption and bribery. DAHANA also actively participates in World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) 2024, holding a socialization event to update the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP). This agenda aims to raise awareness among employees about the importance of maintaining integrity and preventing actions that could harm the Company or the country. The effort involves various departments to ensure that the anti-corruption message is communicated throughout all operational levels.

The implementation of SMAP is a critical step in DAHANA’s mission to cultivate a work culture centered on integrity. With SMAP, the Company has a systematic approach to preventing, detecting, and addressing all forms of bribery, aligning with international standards and enhancing stakeholder trust.

Furthermore, DAHANA reinforces good corporate governance practices through comprehensive training and stringent internal supervision. The Company regularly conducts training sessions for employees to elevate their understanding of GCG principles. Effective internal supervision ensures that all business activities are transparent and accountable.

DAHANA’s efforts to prevent corruption extend beyond the Company itself to include external partners. DAHANA ensures that all business associates understand and adhere to its anti-corruption policies. This initiative aims to create a supply chain free from corrupt practices, allowing all business processes to operate fairly and responsibly.

“We aspire to contribute to strengthening the anti-corruption culture within the BUMN landscape and, ultimately, to support sustainable national economic growth. We are dedicated to leading the fight against corruption and fostering integrity as an integral part of our Company’s identity,” said Mr Sodiq.
