PT DAHANA won Indonesia Best Business Transformation 2023 award from SWA Media Group for the Company’s ability to perform transformation through collaboration and innovation. The award was received by GM General Mining Division 2 of PT DAHANA Abdul Haris Atbaro representing the President Director of PT DAHANA Wildan Widarman at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday, on 30 August 2023.
Mr Widarman said that as the mecca for Indonesian explosives, DAHANA believes in the power of collaboration and innovation in every business process to encourage the Company’s transformation in a better direction. In the last few years, DAHANA launched innovative programs in business, process, product and management system innovation.
“Thank God, we are very grateful for the award given by SWA Media Group. This is one of the beautiful gifts ahead of PT DAHANA’s 57th Anniversary. I should extend my gratitude to all DAHANA people for their excellent performance, as well as to consumers who have trusted the service and DAHANA products,” said Mr Widarman.
Mr Widarman also explained that the transformation process carried out by DAHANA did not happen overnight; it was a long process. Innovation as the Company’s breath is constantly attempted by every DAHANA person in their work that allows the Company to make necessary adaptation in facing various challenges.
DAHANA’s innovation in the last few years include the transformation of the management system by implementing the DAHANA Management System which integrated quality management, OHS and the environment. DAHANA also entered into digital transformation by implementing the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Dashboard Management System (DMS) for making appropriate decision making.
Apart from that, DAHANA is innovating in environmentally friendly explosives products by manufacturing explosives using waste oil. The application of used oil in the production of explosives is also welcomed by consumers. In military explosives products, DAHANA also continues to conduct research and development of military products to support the independence of Indonesia’s defense equipment.
Meanwhile, Mr Atbaro revealed that the secret of DAHANA’s transformation lies in the strength of the AKHLAK core values which guide DAHANA’s personnel in their daily work. He hoped that in the future DAHANA will progress further in terms of transformation process to become an explosives company that can compete in the global market.
“Under the AKHLAK core values as a compass for the work ethic of DAHANA’s people, we hope that the Company’s transformation process will be even more massive in all sectors, so that it can contribute more to Indonesia’s progress. DAHANA, be excellent!” concluded Mr Atbaro.
