PT DAHANA has once again been recognized as the Best Mining Contractor for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Implementation at the PT Semen Baturaja Site Project. The award was presented by Hari Liandu, Corporate Secretary of PT Semen Baturaja, to DAHANA Site Coordinator Daniel Aulia during the 2025 National Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Month Seminar held at Wisma Ganesha Semen Baturaja in South Sumatra on February 5, 2025.
Abdul Haris Atbaro, DAHANA’s Operations Director, expressed that this award reflects the outstanding performance of DAHANA employees. He hopes it will motivate all DAHANA staff, both at the various project sites and the offices in Subang and Jakarta.
“Thank God, this award is a recognition of the hard work put in by DAHANA employees at the Baturaja Site. On behalf of management, I would like to thank our colleagues at the Baturaja Site and our loyal clients at Semen Baturaja. I hope our collaboration continues to be mutually beneficial,” said Mr Atbaro.
PT DAHANA earned the award as the Best Mining Contractor for HSE Implementation after undergoing several assessment stages. DAHANA received the highest scores in key areas such as implementing the Mining Safety Management System (SMKP), organizational competence, communication, consultation, participation in the provision of goods and services, and maintaining OHS standards and operations, alongside the infrastructure and facilities.
Since 2019, DAHANA has been providing drilling and blasting services at PT Semen Baturaja. With support from the Energetic Material Center (EMC) and the expertise of its employees, DAHANA is committed to delivering top-notch services tailored to customer needs.
Daniel Aulia, DAHANA’s Site Coordinator at Semen Baturaja, stated that the award reflects a collective achievement, stemming from management support, customer trust, and employee dedication to providing exceptional service.
As a national explosives company, DAHANA prioritizes occupational health and safety (OHS). Each day, employees at the Semen Baturaja Site Project conduct a 5-Minute Meeting (P5M) before starting work to ensure their safety and the safety of the surrounding environment. Additionally, DAHANA actively submits OHS-Environment reports to management through an application-based system.
“During National OHS Month, we hope this award serves as a reminder for all DAHANA employees to always prioritize occupational health and safety,” concluded Mr Aulia.
