PT DAHANA welcomed a visit from PT WIKON in order to explore collaboration potential in the construction sector. PT WIKON, represented by Hasiholan Christian Siahaan, was warmly welcomed by DAHANA’s Sulawesi Regional Operations Manager Yondra Feta Erizal at the DAHANA Campus, Subang, West Java, on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
In his remarks, Mr Erizal told a brief history of PT DAHANA which began with the Menang Project of the Indonesian Air Force, and developed into an Indonesian explosives mecca company with the most complete explosives facilities in the Southeast Asia region.
“On behalf of PT DAHANA management, we would like to express our gratitude and welcome you to the DAHANA Campus. It is our hope that PT DAHANA and PT WIKON can collaborate to improve the Indonesian economy in the construction industry,” said Mr Erizal.
PT DAHANA has extensive experience in several business lines such as mining, quarrying & construction, oil and gas, and military. Up to the present, PT DAHANA’s products and services have been used by various companies spread throughout Indonesia, and have also become a trusted explosives exporter in the Australian market.
In construction sector, the use of explosives is an important commodity for speeding up the project work process compared to conventional methods. Owing to its enormous strength, explosives are capable of excavating land with hard and complex rock structures.
Mr Erizal added that, in the construction sector, PT DAHANA has gained the trust of consumers to accelerate the construction of National Strategic Projects (PSN), such as working on the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Train tunnel, Budong-budong Dam, Cipanas Dam, Batang Toru Hydroelectric Power Plant and acceleration of construction of toll roads.
“We have Total Explosive Solutions services consisting of explosives supply, loading & hauling, drilling & blasting, handling, warehousing, licensing, to the destruction of explosives. Under its various experiences, DAHANA makes sure consumers are satisfied since the work is efficient and reliable in lowering the customers’ budget,” added Mr Erizal.
Following the welcoming speech, the event went on with a presentation of material from PT DAHANA, followed by a visit to the Energetic Material Center area to see PT DAHANA’s non-electric detonator plant.
