PT DAHANA (Persero), a state-owned enterprises producing commercial and military explosives, signed a co-working contract with the Center for Human Resource Development (PPSDM) for  Geology, Mineral and Coal (Geominerba), Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on Friday 4 May, 2018 at the PPSDM’s office on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman 623, Bandung. 

The  MOU and work agreement was on development of human resources in energy and mineral resources.  Dahana was represented by its Director of Finance and Human Resources, Asmorohadi.

The agreement was signed during the second day of Public Service Promotion Day event hosted by PPSDM Geometri in preparation of PPSDM Geomineral’s Public Service Take Off. In addition di Dahana, some other institutions were also there such as mining companies, offices of ministry of energy and mineral resources, universities, association, and training providers which also had some signing moments.

This PPSDM’s Public Service Promotion Day lasted for three days, from 3 to 5 May 2018 Some special events were given during the first and second day of event, such as classroom and laboratory mini shops for survey equipment, SIG application, decorative stone business doers, blasting equipment, geology disaster mitigation, geophysics equipment, geo-tourism equipment, vertical rescue, processing and prufication, diving apparatus and mining 3D video simulation.

On the third day, Saturday, May 5, 2018 20 the event offered fun bike session, and geo-tour to the Stone Garden and a visit to Cipatat Field Campus is Padalarang. During the Public Service Promotion, exhibition booths from several government instituion, private companies and other organisations were there too.

Following the effect of Decree of Minister of Finance Number 966/KMK.05/2017 on December 28, 2017, PPSDM Geominerba was altered to a Public Service Agency. In February 2016, PPSDM Geomineral launched the Public Service Agency.

According to Bayu Anggoro, PT DAHANA (Persero)’s Senior Manager for Human Resource Development and Organisation said that the alteration of PPSDM Geometri into a Public Service Agency would make it easy for PPSDM Geominerba to respond to DAHANA’s related demand.

“Previously, when our human resource requires training, we had to wait for the schedule set up by the PPSDM Minerba, with limited participants. Now, under the Public Service Agency status, such training demand becomes easier,” said Bayu Anggoro to Dfile.

The given working agreement ensures PPSDM Minerba’s better relations with DAHANA in terms of human resource development. “This way it is possible for us to conduct our own training, using instructors from PPSDM Geominerba; we can even invite other training participants,” said Bayu.

“We can get our ownn in-house traning program. No need to wait for schedule availability” he added. (SYA)
