PT DAHANA sent hundreds of travelers to their hometowns from three different departure points: Jakarta, Bandung, and Subang. The Company’s President Director, Hary Irmawan, supervised the departure process for travelers in Jakarta. Meanwhile, the Director of Finance, Risk Management, and HR, Mohamad Nur Sodiq, sent off travelers from Bale DAHANA in Subang, and the Director of Operations, Abdul Haris Atbaro, sent off travelers from Bandung on March 27, 2025.
Mr Irmawan stated that DAHANA’s free homecoming program is a routine initiative implemented by BUMN under the Ministry of BUMN RI. This program reflects DAHANA’s commitment to supporting the local community by easing the burden of traveling home to visit families during Eid al-Fitr.
“Everyone should experience the joy of Eid al-Fitr. It’s a time for family gatherings and enjoying the warmth of our hometowns. Therefore, we continue our annual program offering free homecoming. We hope that all travelers have a safe and healthy journey and can reunite with their families,” Mr Irmawan remarked.
Mr Sodiq added that this year, PT DAHANA provided seven homecoming buses heading to Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya, while from Bandung, buses traveled to Solo, Yogyakarta, and Semarang. From Subang, there were four homecoming destinations: Subang to Semarang, Subang to Yogyakarta, Subang to Surabaya, and Subang to Surakarta. Buses departed from Bandung to Surakarta and Yogyakarta, and from Jakarta to Yogyakarta.
“On this auspicious occasion, we ask for your prayers for the continued success of DAHANA, so that we can further progress and ensure the prosperity of the people of Subang. We wish you a happy homecoming, may your journey be smooth, and may you arrive safely at your destination to reunite with your family. Please send my regards to your loved ones,” said Mr Sodiq.
In Bandung, Director of Operations Abdul Haris Atbaro also saw off the travelers. He noted that the free homecoming initiative is part of a collaboration with Holding DEFEND ID and the West Java Provincial Government. This activity aims to support and alleviate the burdens faced by the community during the holy month of Ramadan.
“We, the extended family of PT DAHANA, wish you a happy Eid al-Fitr 1446 H. We sincerely apologize for any grievances. Please extend our greetings to your families at home, and let us pray for the continued growth and blessings of DAHANA,” Mr Atbaro expressed.
