DAHANA’s Directorate of Finance, Risk Management, and HR organized the DAHANA Sayang Anak Yatim (DAHSYAT)—Dahana Loves Orphans—program, which took place at the Al-Rasyid Orphanage in Subang on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. This initiative, part of the DAHANA Ramadhan Harmony program, aims to spread joy to orphans during the holy month of Ramadhan.

Mohamad Nur Sodiq, the Director of Finance, Risk Management, and HR, stated that the company is dedicated not only to profit but also to progressing and developing alongside the surrounding community. Therefore, DAHANA strives to share happiness with children in need.

“The DAHSYAT program aims to strengthen the relationship between the Company and the community, particularly with orphans. With a spirit of togetherness and care, we hope this activity benefits the orphans and inspires others to continue sharing and caring for those in need,” said Mr Sodiq.

A total of 30 orphans from the Al-Rasyid Orphanage received various forms of assistance from PT DAHANA, and they expressed enthusiasm and happiness upon the team’s arrival. Muhamad Nabil, one of the foster children, shared his joy in receiving warmth and care from PT DAHANA.

“Thank you, ladies and gentlemen from PT DAHANA. We are very happy and grateful for the assistance you have provided. We hope this support brings blessings to both the givers and the recipients. May DAHANA continue to thrive,” Nabil expressed.

As part of the DAHSYAT program at the Al-Rasyid Orphanage, DAHANA provided support for renovating the orphanage, supplying beds, and offering monetary assistance. Additionally, the company donated uniforms for both the foster children and the administrators.

The event featured various activities, including interactive games, Islamic quizzes, and Ramadan sermons. A highlight was the “DAHANA Mencari Tahfidz—Dahana seeking Tahfidz participant” game, where the children were tested on their memorization skills. The event was further enlivened by a hadra session that accompanied the distribution of assistance to the orphans.

Prof. Dr. H. Makhmud Syafe’i, M.Pd.I, Chairman of the Al-Rasyid Foundation, expressed great appreciation for DAHANA’s concern for the children in their care. He noted that many potential future generations in Indonesia face difficulties and require support from corporations, the government, and the broader community.

“We sincerely thank DAHANA for their assistance. During this holy month of Ramadan, we pray for the health and welfare of DAHANA employees and hope the company continues to progress and develop according to their aspirations,” Professor Syafe’i concluded.
