The DAHANA Green Mosque recently organized the Pesantren Ramadhan Dahana Berilmu (Permadani), a boarding Islamic studies program aimed at high school students in Subang Regency. The event took place from March 18 to March 20, 2025. Ismail Kurbani, the Head of the DAHANA Green Mosque Council, officially opened the event on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the mosque located in Subang, West Java.

Mr. Kurbani stated that Permadani 2025 is designed to nurture the younger generation’s understanding and practice of Islamic teachings. He expressed his hope that this initiative would contribute to the development of Indonesia’s golden generation by 2045—a generation that embodies not only intellectual and emotional intelligence but also spiritual awareness.

“I thank all the young participants for being here. This event is a demonstration of DAHANA’s commitment to benefitting the local community, especially the youth of Subang Regency. I encourage you to make the most of this opportunity to socialize with peers from other schools, build connections, and strive to become better individuals after attending Permadani,” said Mr Kurbani.

Throughout the three-day program, participants engaged in various activities, including Islamic studies, digital preaching training, and discussions on Ghazwul Fikri, or the war of ideas. These sessions were designed to provide a profound understanding of religious concepts and the challenges faced in contemporary society.

Additionally, the program featured Al-Qur’an tahsin sessions, congregational qiyamul lail, and a content creator contest aimed at equipping participants with relevant preaching skills for the digital age.

Juli Jajuli, the General Manager of Human Resources Management at PT DAHANA, also attended the opening ceremony. He emphasized DAHANA’s strong support for youth development initiatives in the surrounding area and expressed his hope that Subang Regency could play a significant role in realizing Indonesia Emas (Golden Indonesia) by 2045.

“After this short Islamic boarding school experience, I hope the students will return home with renewed enthusiasm for studying and worshiping—not just during Ramadan but throughout the year. With dedication to their studies and spiritual practices, I believe the students can achieve their dreams,” said Mr Jajuli.
