PT DAHANA gave scholarships to outstanding children of outsourced employees. A total of six children received development funds and assistance in the form of supporting facilities and equipment for achievements. The scholarships were symbolically handed over by the Director of Finance, Risk Management and HR of DAHANA Ahyanizzaman, at the DAHANA Campus, Subang, West Java, on Wednesday, September 10, 2024.
Mr Ahyanizzaman said that the scholarships come as special appreciation to employees who have demonstrated full supports to their children education and achievements. The Scholarships are also an effort to improve the quality of human resources which are important pillars to the Company.
“We realize that the success of children is a source of pride for every parent. Today, we would like to give special awards to several employees whose children have achieved proud achievements in sports and arts,” said Mr Ahyanizzaman.
PT DAHANA believes that Indonesia needs qualified and related competent human resources to achieve Indonesia Emas 2045. Therefore, the Company is endeavouring to increase the motivation of employees’ children who excel in sports and arts with scholarships.
PT DAHANA’s Head of Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Unit, Eman Suherman, said that the scholarship program is a manifestation of the Company’s commitment to the priority of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) education pillar. The SER team hoped that scholarships can increase children’s motivation to maximize their potential and talents.
Meanwhile, Wawan Setiawan, the parent of Dinar Nursamsi Setiaji, who received the scholarship, expressed his gratitude to PT DAHANA for the latter’s care for children’s education. He hoped that with this program his child can be more enthusiastic in honing his potential.
“Thank you to PT DAHANA for giving a scholarship program for outstanding children. We, parents, find it beneficial and at the same time consider the scholarship can motivate our children to continue to maintain and improve their achievements,” said Mr Setiawan.
