President Director of PT DAHANA, Wildan Widarman accompanied by Quarry and Construction Division GM, Setio Budhianto visited the Cisumdawu Toll Project Site. DAHANA’s President Director was welcomed by DAHANA Site Cisumdawu Project Office, Herlan Setiadi and Foreman Rahmat Hidayat at the project site in Cisumdawu, West Java, on Monday 25 July 2022.
During the visit, Mr Widarman said that was quite satisfied with the performance of DAHANA’s people in the site who have worked hard to help accelerate the work on the Cisumdawu Toll Road project which will increase community mobility and is expected to boost the Indonesian economy.
“Alhamdulillah, until now, the workers in the site are in good health, and capable of working in an optimum way realize the Cisumdawu Toll Road. DAHANA’s involvement here is the company’s effort to be involved in the development of the National Strategic Project (PSN) launched by the government to revive the national economy after the pandemic,” said Mr Widarman.
In addition to seeing the progress of Cisumdawu toll road section 4 which is in the process of construction by DAHANA, Mr Widarman also took the time to stay in touch with the Project Manager of PT Wika in Cisumdawu as the project holder. DAHANA’s Project Officer Herlan Setiadi reported to the President Director that his team has successfully completed a 100% progress of cutting work 500 meters.
“Alhamdulillah, up to the present time, DAHANA has made a 70% progress 70% of the tasks assigned by PT Wika,” said Mr Setiadi.
Mr Setiadi also said DAHANA has brought an experienced team and the latest technology owned by DAHANA to accelerate the completion of the Cisumdawu toll road work; one of which is the use of Dabex assisted by Mobile Manufacturing Truck (MMT) for drilling and blasting activities.
The construction of the Cisumdawu Toll Road, which will later connect the community to access to the West Java International Airport (BIJB), is also predicted to accelerate economic growth in West Java. With the Cisumdawu Toll Road, the people of Bandung – Majalengka can save their travel time to one hour or less from the previous three hours of travel.
As is known, some sections of the Cisumdawu toll road have been completed, and can be used by the public for free. The Cisumdawu toll road has a total length of of 60.10 km and is divided into six work sections consisting of, Section I Cileunyi – Rancakalong of 11.4 km, Section 2 Rancakalong – Sumedang of 17.05 km, Section 3 Sumedang – Cimalaka of 4.05 km, Section 3 4 Cimalaka – Legok of 8.20 km, Section 5 Legok – Ujungjaya 14.9 km, and Section 6 Ujungjaya – Dawuan 6.06 km.
