PT DAHANA attended the Indonesia International Geothermal Convention and Exhibition (IIGCE) 2024 which is held from 18 to 20 September 2024, at JCC Senayan, Jakarta. DAHANA’s Director of Operations Yusep Nugraha said in his release in Jakarta (18/9), DAHANA’s presence is the company’s effort to expand the market in the geothermal sector.
As the mecca of Indonesian explosives, DAHANA has more than half a century of experience serving the explosives sector in various sectors, including in the geothermal sector. DAHANA offers various advantages for consumers in the geothermal sector who need products and services related to explosives.
“We are present at IIGCE 2024 to expand the market in the geothermal sector. This is also a form of support for the use of New Renewable Energy. We offer various product and service advantages in the geothermal sector such as Integrated Explosive Services”, said Mr Nugraha.
The application of explosives in geothermal projects is an efficient and effective way compared to manual methods. The explosives in geothermal are used for back off when the pipe is clogged. With the use of explosives in these activities, the problem of clogged pipes can be resolved faster to makes sure operational time is not wasted while operational costs become more economical.
DAHANA’s Integrated Explosive Services consist of explosives supply (explosives import, warehouse provision, licensing, importation, transportation and handling of remaining explosives. Under this integrated service, activities with explosives can be directed and planned up to the time the explosives are no longer used.
Mr Nugraha added that DAHANA also offers a Bunker Management System for geothermal projects. This service includes management of explosives warehouses, provision of bunker supervisors, warehouse security, inventory control, and mobilization of explosives to well locations.
“With complete and integrated services and our experienced human resources, we are ready to expand the market in the geothermal sector which is currently in great need to respond the challenges of the climate crisis that we are currently experiencing,” concluded Mr Nugraha.
At the exhibition with the theme “Powering Together: Stakeholder Unity in Geothermal Innovation and Acceleration”, DAHANA showcased Integrated Explosive Solutions, Bunker Management System, Bonded Logistics Center, and mockups of seismic dayagel explosives, shaped charges, detonators.
