Defense Industry Holding DEFEND ID held the DEFEND ID Ngabring ka Subang event. The group consisting of directors and employees of PT Len Industri (Persero), PT PINDAD and its subsidiaries departed from Bandung and arrived at Saung Kopi DAHANA on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
DAHANA President Director Syaifuddin said that the Ngabring ka Subang event was not only a means of friendship between DEFEND ID entities but also to strengthen synergy marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between PT DAHANA and PT PINDAD.
“We welcome our fellows from DEFEND ID, LEN, and PINDAD. Hopefully this activity can reflect the core values of AKHLAK, namely Collaboration, and bring benefits to all parties involved,” said Syaifuddin.
Several strategic collaborations signed by the President Director of DAHANA and the President Director of PINDAD include provision of commercial explosives products and mining services, cooperation in research and development and production of defense explosives, and construction of propellant production facilities.
Apart from that, PINDAD and DAHANA also agreed to cooperate in providing health services and facilities owned by PINDAD’s subsidiary to DAHANA, and various other Memorandums of Understanding agreed upon by the related parties.
President Director of PT PINDAD Abraham Mose said that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between DAHANA and PINDAD was a continuation of various collaborations that had been carried out by the two entities since before they were incorporated into the DEFEND ID Holding. With DEFEND ID, it is hoped that it can further strengthen the strategic collaboration between DAHANA and PINDAD.
“We are optimistic that with this collaboration, DAHANA and PINDAD can realize the ideals of DEFEND ID, namely to become the driving force for the realization of the independence of the national defense industry, increase the value of the Domestic Content Level, and enter the top 50 best defense industry companies in the world,” said Mr Mose.
Apart from t the President Director of PT DAHANA and PT PINDAD, this event was also attended by the Directors of Holding DEFEND ID, namely the Director of Business and Cooperation of PT Len Industri (Persero) Wahyu Sofiadi and the Director of Operations of PT Len Industri (Persero) Tazar Marta Kurniawan. Also present from DAHANA were the Director of Finance, MR and HR Ahyanizzaman, the Director of Operations Yusep Nugraha and the Director of Technology & Development Suhendra Yusuf RPN. Meanwhile, from PT PINDAD, the Director of Finance, MR and HR Kemal Sudiro and the Director of Production Budhiarto were present.
