DAHANA’s Millennial Tegar Pangestu Roberto was selected as SOEs’ Batch IV 2023 Volunteer. He, along with 10 selected volunteers from other SOEs were given the task of serving the community in Kaiely Village, Namlea, Maluku from 14 to 18 August 2023.

The Ministry of State-owned Enterprises has several times successfully implemented the SOEs’ Dedication Volunteering program. For each batch, volunteers of SOEs employees are deployed to the designated service points to directly help the community. Quoted from Antara, SOEs Minister Erick Thohir conveyed a message to SOE’s Dedication Volunteers

“The Ministry of SOEs encourages SOEs employees to always implement AKHLAK, not only in the office environment, but also in the community wherever they are, so that SOE’s dedication can be truly benefitted by the community, not only through SOEs as a corporation, but also in term of direct contribution of SOEs’ personnel to the community,” said Minister Thohir.

This year, the program was implemented in 10 service points namely Meunasah-Aceh, Pandeglang-Banten, Sukabumi-West Java Sragen-Central Java, Kulonprogo-Jogjakarat Special Region, Malang-East Java, Penglipuran-Bali, Lombok, Namlea-Maluku and Jayapura-Papua that involved 100 volunteers who are employees of 54 different SOEs.

Mr Roberto explained that the SOEs Service Program at Kaiely Village, Namlea, Maluku was attended by Tedi Bharata as the Deputy for Human Resources Management, Technology and Information at the Ministry of State-owned Enterprises.

Mr Bharata also gave directions to the Volunteer Team and signed the TPQ renovation inscription, and planted trees together at the VOC Fort. In Namlea, Mr Roberto and other volunteers ran some social programs such as visits to eucalyptus oil refineries, economic empowerment, environmental preservation, stunting prevention, and repair of public facilities.

Mr Roberto conveyed that a strict process for each batch was carried out for screen SOEs Dedication Volunteers. The enthusiasm of potential participants was so great as thousands of SOEs signed up and only 100 were selected for taking part in the activity. Mr Roberto was proud he was one of them.

“I’m proud to be one of the 100 participants who have been selected from 8,096 applicants and I represent PT DAHANA. Hopefully it can bring the Company’s reputation in particular and the Ministry of SOEs in general, and of course it can bring benefits and leave a significant impact on the people of Namlea and Kaiely Village,” said Mr Roberto.
