PT DAHANA’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Unit gave a Free Medical Treatment activity for the community. The health care activity was held in Sadawarna and Sariasih neighborhood in Sadawarna Village, Cibogo District, Subang Regency, West Java, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

Acting Corporate Secretary of DAHANA, Erwin Cipta Mulyana said that the free medical treatment activity for the community is a manifestation of DAHANA’s commitment to progress and develop together with the surrounding community. It is also a gesture of gratitude of the company which is turning 58 years old.

“Hopefully this activity can increase public awareness on the importance of health, and help people who have difficulty accessing medical treatment. We also ask the public to pray for DAHANA, hopefully at the age of 58, the Company can continue to progress and develop,” said Mr Mulyana.

AHANA’s free medical treatment program was also supported by collaboration with the Subang Health Office, Cibogo Health Center and DAHANA’s Tatali Wargi organization. This time, the free medical treatment activity targeted 250 residents in the Sadawarna and Sariasih neighborhood.

Meanwhile, the Head of DAHANA SER Unit, Eman Suherman emphasized that the free medical treatment program is an implementation of the SER Health sector program in accordance with the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) pillars 3 and 16, namely ‘Healthy and Prosperous Life; and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions’.

“As part of the big SOEs family, DAHANA is highly concerned on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals, solely to help make sure that the Indonesian people, especially the surrounding community, can progress and develop while living healthily and happily,” concluded Mr Suherman.

On the same occasion, the General Chairperson of Tatali Wargi DAHANA Arum Manggarsari said that the residents’ health is very important. With a prime physical condition, residents can carry out activities with focus and an optimum way, so that they can contribute to the community’s increasing productivity.

“As part of DAHANA, we also support the Company’s social and environmental activities. For us, free medical treatment activities are a way to help elevate the community productivity as health is the main capital for the progress of a community,” said Mrs Manggarsari.
