PT DAHANA distributed humanitarian aid to residents affected by landslides in Pasir Munjul Village, Sukatani District, Purwakarta Regency, West Java, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. The aid was handed over by Janitra Yoga, Senior Staff of DAHANA’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) to Usep Supdana, representative of the West Java Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).

Mr Supdana as the Young Expert Disaster Management Arranger of BPBD said that the aid delivered by DAHANA was very meaningful for the affected community as up to the moment, residents really need help from various parties, especially in meeting basic needs in evacuation sites.

“We would like to express our gratitude for the attention and assistance from PT DAHANA. This assistance means a lot to the affected residents, especially to meet their daily needs while in evacuation,” said Mr Supdana, Senior Expert Disaster Management Planner of the West Java BPBD.

On Monday, June 16, 2025, the Purwakarta Regency Government declared an emergency response status for the landslide case, in which 249 people from 81 families were affected. In the meantime, the Government together with the West Java BPBD are preparing land for relocation of residents to make sure that they can live in a safer place.

Based on Antara’s report, the landslide disaster in Purwakarta resulted in 70 buildings being damaged, with 57 houses severely damaged, one public facility severely damaged, one place of worship severely damaged, three houses moderately damaged, and eight houses lightly damaged.

Meanwhile, Janitra Yoga said that PT DAHANA also expressed its condolences for the Purwakarta disaster. He, in coordination with the West Java BUMN task force team and the West Java BPBD, is committed to being present to ease the burden suffered by the community.

“This assistance is a form of our concern for the community affected by the landslide disaster. We hope that this assistance can ease the burden on residents and meet their basic needs during the emergency response period,” said Mr Yoga
