JAKARTA, June 5, 2025 – PT DAHANA recently conducted a working visit to PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), commonly known as Pelindo, to benchmark their digital transformation efforts aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of business management.

The visit took place at Pelindo Tower in Jakarta on Thursday, June 5, and was led by Mohamad Nur Sodiq, the Director of Finance, Risk Management, and HR at PT DAHANA. The DAHANA team was welcomed by Mega Satria, the Director of Finance at Pelindo.

In his remarks, Mr Sodiq explained that PT DAHANA is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) that is part of the DEFEND ID defense industry holding, primarily focused on explosives production and integrated blasting services for the mining, construction, and defense sectors.

“DAHANA is committed to developing its business processes and enhancing operational capabilities through digital transformation. We appreciate Pelindo for the opportunity to learn directly from their experience in implementing digitalization,” stated Mr Sodiq.

Pelindo has been recognized for successfully implementing digitalization across its main business processes, particularly through the adoption of a Single Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system based on SAP HANA. This implementation is supported by various internal applications developed by approximately 400 personnel in the information technology field. The SAP HANA system serves as an integrated platform to facilitate various non-operational functions such as finance, budget control, HR management, risk management, and procurement of goods and services.

The utilization of SAP HANA enables Pelindo to accelerate business processes and enhance the accuracy of decision-making through real-time data analysis. Through this benchmarking visit, DAHANA aims to gain insights into the digitalization process and explore the potential for developing similar systems tailored to its internal needs.

“We want to minimize the risk of failure, avoid unnecessary expenses, and ensure that the system we adopt aligns with the company’s business requirements,” Mr Sodiq noted.

Pelindo’s Finance Director, Mega Satria, welcomed the visit and expressed Pelindo’s commitment to sharing knowledge regarding digital transformation efforts.

“Pelindo is pleased to host PT DAHANA. Our team is ready to support the digitalization implementation process that the DAHANA team undertakes. This program fosters collaboration and synergy between State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) for the advancement of the nation,” said Mr Satria.

Mr Sodiq added that this benchmarking effort exemplifies the core values of BUMN, particularly collaboration, as outlined in AKHLAK. He expressed hope that this initiative would yield lasting benefits for both companies.

“Hopefully, this synergy can lead to positive contributions and improved service to our country,” he concluded.
