DAHANA’s Board of Commissioners (BOC), consisting of Wahyudi Hidayat, Rina Moreta, and Rizky Olyvia Nasution, visited employees at the PT Multi Harapan Utama (MHU) Jobsite Project in Tenggarong, East Kalimantan, on Thursday, November 7, 2024. They were welcomed by GM DTU 1, Herry Sudaryanto, and East Kalimantan Area Operations Manager, Agus Sofyan.
Mr Hidayat stated that the purpose of the BOC’s visit to MHU was to observe firsthand the performance of DAHANA employees in the field. He noted that DAHANA employees have demonstrated exceptional performance and received excellent feedback from consumers.
“As DAHANA’s BOC, we take great pride in and appreciate the dedication of our employees in meeting MHU’s needs as consumers; they are the company’s frontline representatives. We encourage our colleagues here to maintain their high standards, achieve the targets and quality expected by consumers, and provide outstanding service,” said Mr. Hidayat.
At the MHU site, DAHANA is entrusted with providing Blasting Services, which includes managing explosives permits, supplying explosives, and conducting blasting operations. DAHANA employees at the MHU site have showcased their exceptional performance, earning several awards from consumers.
Ms Moreta also expressed her pride in the outstanding work demonstrated by DAHANA employees. She emphasized the importance of maintaining health and stamina while focusing on work, and urged employees to avoid behaviors that could be harmful.
“Prioritize health and safety at work; remember that you have family—children, partners, or parents—waiting at home. Avoid anything negative and concentrate on your work to bring pride to your family. Stay enthusiastic and strive to provide the best possible service to consumers,” urged Ms. Moreta.
During the visit, the DAHANA BOC engaged openly in discussions, listening to employees’ stories. They also took the opportunity to witness the blasting process firsthand and explore the On-Site Plant (OSP) facilities, which serve as DAHANA’s explosives factory located at the MHU site.
Rizky Olyvia Nasution shared her deep impression of the visit, remarking that employees at the site have made significant sacrifices, and the warm sense of family was palpable during their conversations.
“The atmosphere at the site is very warm, and it should always be that way. We hope that this close-knit and supportive environment can be maintained, as it helps alleviate feelings of loneliness and boredom. We wish all DAHANA employees continued health and safety at work,” expressed Ms. Nasution.
